A low histamine diet is a diet that restricts histamine-containing foods in order to prevent or reduce histamine intolerance symptoms such as headaches, hives, itching, and gastrointestinal symptoms.


This is a very rare vegan diet that I have created and adapted to be low histamine. You will not find this diet plan available elsewhere.


A low histamine diet involves eliminating or reducing intake of foods that are high in histamines, such as aged or fermented foods, citrus fruits, and nuts. Low histamine foods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, legumes (if cooked from dried in a pressure cooker), and certain grains are allowed on the diet.

An individual's specific food triggers can vary, so a low histamine diet may need to be tailored to meet a person's specific needs and tolerances. This meal plan offers a standard low histamine diet, with plant-based recipes, aimed to lessen symptoms.

Each week contains three main meals that are meal prepped either in advance, either with leftovers frozen until needed, or individual portions made fresh each day. Plus, each week will have a meal prep snack. The meals are designed to provide enough protein, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates to help you stay on track while providing plenty of fiber and other essential nutrients.

  • You get 3 main meals and snacks each week.
  • Recipes are whole food plant-based without meat replacements, excess oils, or processed foods. No artificial flavours or ingredients are included.
  • The weekly recipes are easy to follow with clear instructions and simple ingredients, usually taking under 30 minutes to make.
  • Nutritional info (macronutrient & micronutrient values) helps track progress and meet goals.
  • You'll get a list of ingredients each week to make cooking from scratch easier. This saves money by reducing waste.
